2006 Sauvignon Blanc
About the Vintage
2006 marks our second ever vintage of sauvignon blanc. It is one of the only wines we produce that is not estate grown.
Composition
This wine is composed of 100% Sauvignon Blanc.
Vineyards
We source our Sauvignon Blanc fruit from the Talcott Vineyard at the north end of Napa Valley in St. Helena.
Fermentation and Aging
This wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks, then quickly flashed through brand new French Oak barrels for only one week. It is then transferred to 60 gallon stainless steel barrels, where it ages for 10 months prior to bottling.
Production
800 Cases were produced in 2006.
The 2006 Vintage was released in June of 2007.
